Refrigerant leak repaired and the filter drier replaced

This A/C had a refrigerant leak. Any time a sealed system is opened for a repair, the liquid-line filter drier gets replaced with it: it is the part that traps the moisture and debris that would otherwise reach the metering device and the compressor.

Leak repaired, new drier installed, system evacuated and recharged to spec, then run and checked before we left.
