First, a real safety note: if you smell gas or suspect a carbon monoxide leak, this isn’t a repair call — leave the home immediately and call 911 or your gas company. Those are life-safety emergencies for the fire department, not an HVAC visit. Once you’re safe, we’re glad to help with the repair.

The breakdowns we treat as urgent
If one of these is happening right now, call. The service call is $80 weekdays 7am to 6pm, $120 weeknights until 10:00pm and all weekend.
- No heat on a cold night — the furnace or heat pump is down and the house is dropping.
- No cooling in a heat wave — the A/C quit and the house is climbing.
- A furnace that won’t light, short cycles, or blows cold air — usually an ignitor, flame sensor, or pressure-switch problem.
- Burning or electrical smell from the system (turn it off first), or a breaker that keeps tripping.
- Water leaking from the furnace or air handler that won’t stop.
- A system that won’t turn on at all when you need it.

If it is a repair we can finish that night, we finish it. Major repairs we quote in advance and finish ourselves. Two portable high-efficiency A/C units and a swamp cooler, roughly 900 sq ft of coverage. A third unit is $10 a day.
The diagnostic comes off any repair you approve, and you do not have to burn a vacation day waiting on a technician. A furnace that fails at 6:00 PM on a Tuesday can be looked at that same evening.
To be straightforward about the limits: we run Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, that belongs to 911 or your gas company rather than to any HVAC company.
If it can’t be fixed tonight, you still have a plan
When your A/C is down in the heat and the repair has to wait on a part, we can set up temporary cooling the same day. Two portable high-efficiency A/C units and a portable swamp cooler cover roughly 900 square feet, for $150 covering delivery, setup and takedown, plus $20 a day, and a third unit is $10 a day.
What shortens a no-heat wait is a complete diagnosis that same night — we order the part first thing and come back to finish the repair, so the heat comes back sooner.

How fast can you get here?

Will you fix it the same night?
Usually, yes — the parts that fail most often, like capacitors, contactors, ignitors and flame sensors, ride on the truck, and every repair is tested before we leave. If a part has to be ordered, we order it that night and come back to finish the repair as soon as it arrives.
Can you replace my furnace or A/C tonight?
No — a replacement is scheduled work, not a same-night job. We repair systems; we do not sell or install new ones. When a system truly needs replacing, you hear it plainly: the diagnosis, why a new system is the best option, and — only if you ask — a local installer we trust. You’re free to use anyone you like.
Can I get an HVAC tech out tonight in Salt Lake City?
