Hi, I’m Devan — the tech behind Canyon Comfort
I run Canyon Comfort full time, days, evenings and weekends. That covers the hours most companies are closed — so when your A/C dies at 6pm on a Tuesday, someone is actually answering.
What I take on: emergency furnace and A/C repair, portable A/C rentals, airflow and air-quality diagnostics, and health inspections with a written System Health Report. Bigger projects are welcome too. I can usually be there that same evening.
I also clean dryer vents — the whole run, not just the end you can reach. A blocked vent is an airflow problem like any other, and it is the usual reason a dryer takes two cycles.

Why I do this
I got into this business because I believe homeowners deserve more than someone showing up, changing a part, and leaving. They deserve to know that their system is operating properly and that the work was done right.
That’s why I take the time to thoroughly inspect and measure the system—not just look it over. During a tune-up or inspection, I check the numbers that matter: airflow, supply and return static pressure, temperature split, gas pressure and combustion, and amp draw compared with the equipment’s rated specifications.

What Canyon Comfort takes on

Who actually shows up at my house?
Devan Latturner, the owner, runs every call personally. He is a licensed HVAC technician licensed under Utah S350 and B100, EPA refrigerant certified and RMGA gas certified, and he is the same person who answers the phone.
Why do you only work days, evenings and weekends?
Because Devan is a commercial-trained HVAC technician running Canyon Comfort full time, Mon-Fri 7am-10pm, Sat 8am-10pm, and Sun 8am-9pm. Those are the hours most companies are closed, which is usually when a furnace or an A/C decides to quit.
Can I really get emergency service?
Yes. You can usually be on the schedule that same evening, or that same day if it is a Saturday. Portable A/C units are delivered and set up as well, so a house does not sit hot waiting on a part.
How much does a service call cost?
A service call is $80 weekdays 7am-6pm, with $40 added weeknights until 10pm and all weekend. A furnace or A/C health inspection is $110 each or $180 for both, and an airflow diagnostic is $80.
Do you install new furnaces or air conditioners?
No, we are a repair-only HVAC service. Our goal is to keep your system going for as long as repairing it still makes sense. When the day comes for a new system, we can recommend trusted local contractors to handle the installation. If we tell you it’s time to replace, it’s because we genuinely believe it’s time and wouldn’t feel right selling you a repair that could cost you more in the long run.

Canyon Comfort covers the Wasatch Front and Wasatch Back, from Ogden down to Provo and from Grantsville across to Coalville and Heber. Salt Lake County is the core of it, and Park City, Heber, and Bountiful are all in range.
