We start by measuring static pressure — the “blood pressure” of your duct system — to find the actual restriction instead of guessing. You get the reading in writing, so you know what the system was actually doing.
Repairs and modifications
We reconnect runs that have come apart, seal accessible leaks, free crushed flex, and open up starved returns. Those are the fixes that restore airflow and even out temperatures, and they matter as much in January as they do in July, because a furnace fighting restricted ductwork will overheat and short cycle. If the job turns into a full re-route or a new run, we quote that and do it ourselves too.

Is duct cleaning the same as what you do?
No. Duct cleaning removes dust, while we diagnose and repair airflow. When airflow is weak, the cause is usually a restricted filter, a dirty coil, a duct that has come apart, or the duct design itself, and none of those are solved by a cleaning. Can you add ducting to an addition or basement?
Yes. When a system truly needs replacing, we explain the diagnosis and exactly why replacement is the better choice, and we can point you to an HVAC install company we trust if you’d like. Where running ducts is not practical, a ductless mini-split is often the better answer.
Can bad ductwork make my furnace shut off?
