Yes, and it’s one of the most common Daybreak-era calls we get. Warranty work happens on the warranty provider’s schedule, which in July can mean days of heat. The rental doesn’t touch your claim, it just makes the wait comfortable, and you’re free to have anyone do the actual work.
What’s included?
Every rental carries two high-efficiency portable A/C units, 450 square feet each and near 900 together, plus a portable swamp cooler. Delivered, placed in the rooms that lost their cooling, and removed by us at the end.
What does it cost, and how are the days counted?
Dates on a calendar, nothing fancier. $150 for delivery, setup and takedown, plus $20 per date the units remain, the setup and pickup dates counting one each at any hour. A third unit is $10 daily.
Will portables hold a big South Jordan two-story?
Not the whole thing, and we’d rather say so first. They hold rooms. In practice that means the upstairs bedrooms where the heat stacks and the family sleeps, which is what getting through a wait comfortably actually requires.
Can you diagnose the system while you’re here with the units?
Yes, if you want it. The service call is $80 weekdays 7am-6pm, credited toward a repair you approve, with $40 added weeknights until 10pm and all weekend. On a warranty claim, a written independent diagnosis in hand can also speed the conversation up.
Can I rent if another company is doing the work?
Yes, and during a warranty claim that’s the usual arrangement: their contractor fixes, we cool. If you want our independent read as well, weekday diagnostics are $80 (7am-6pm), credited if we do approved repair work, +$40 weeknights/weekends.
