What’s included?
Two high-efficiency portables rated at 450 square feet each, close to 900 together, and a portable swamp cooler in the same delivery. Set up in the rooms that need it, then removed by us when you’re through.
How are the rental days counted?
Calendar dates, no prorating. The $150 handles delivery, setup and takedown; each date after is $20, counting both the day we install and the day we collect regardless of hour. A third unit is $10 per day.
Our bench home takes brutal west sun. Where do the units go?
Into the rooms behind that glass, usually the upstairs bedrooms. The lake-facing bench catches the full afternoon, so that’s where a portable earns its keep, with blinds down through the peak hours to help it hold.
The old downtown house has a swamp cooler that just quit. Same service?
Same service, common call. The portables bridge with refrigerated air while the cooler waits on its part, and since we repair swamp coolers as well, one call books both.
Can I rent if another company is doing the repair?
Yes, whichever Davis or Salt Lake company you’ve got coming. To fold the repair into our visit instead: $80 weekday service call (7am-6pm), credited toward approved work, +$40 weeknights/weekends.
