But a genuinely hot spell changes the math: a south-facing home that soaks up sun all day holds it well past dark, upstairs bedrooms worst of all.
Renting for exactly those weeks beats every alternative. No permanent equipment a mountain home doesn’t need fifty weeks a year, no box-store unit to store afterward — two portable A/C units and a portable swamp cooler (dry mountain air is its best case), set up in the bedrooms the same day, gone when the weather breaks.

Do you deliver portable A/C to Park City?
Yes, Old Town to Kimball Junction, usually the same day you reserve. Setup runs seven days a week: weekdays 7am-10pm, Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-9pm. Call or text 801-960-5925 and we confirm availability on the spot.
Who rents portable air conditioners in Park City?

Our mountain home has no A/C at all. Is that normal up here?
Completely. Most older Park City homes were built on the theory that mountain nights do the cooling, and most summers they’re right. The exception is the one or two genuinely hot stretches, when a sun-baked Old Town or Prospector home holds heat into the night. Renting for exactly those weeks is what this service is for.
What’s included?
Two high-efficiency portable A/C units, 450 square feet apiece and about 900 paired, plus a portable swamp cooler that thrives in mountain-dry air. Delivered up the hill, set up fully, and removed when the heat passes.
How are the days counted?
By calendar date at any elevation: $150 for the delivery, setup and takedown, $20 for each date the units stay, with the setup and pickup dates each counted once. A third unit adds $10 a day, guest bookings included.
Can a rental manager arrange cooling for a guest stay?
Yes, and it’s a common Park City call. A hot week with arriving guests and no A/C in the unit is solvable in an afternoon: reserve by phone, we set up before check-in, and collect after checkout. Days count by the calendar, so the math is predictable.
Can I rent if another company is handling my HVAC work?
Yes, whoever handles your mountain home’s systems. If you’d like us involved, the weekday service call is $80 (7am-6pm), credited toward approved work, +$40 weeknights to 10pm and all weekend.
