Portable A/C rental in Utah County
Same-day cold air for student blocks, family two-stories and orchard-street originals — at the same set rate as the rest of the Front.
A county of extremes, one rental that fits both
Utah County’s housing runs from century-old student rentals in Provo’s Joaquin and Maeser neighborhoods to brand-new two-stories sprinting across Lehi, Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain — and both ends generate cooling emergencies with their own personality.
The old end fails like old housing everywhere: swamp coolers waiting on pumps, long-serving systems quitting mid-heat-wave, and landlords fielding no-cooling messages the week of fall move-in. The new end fails the modern way: a young system down, a warranty or builder queue moving at its own pace, and upstairs bedrooms baking behind west glass while it does.
Portables answer both the same afternoon. Bedrooms first, offices second, held for exactly as long as the part, the appointment or the paperwork takes — and the set rate doesn’t change with the drive down.

The Utah County calls we get most
Move-in week, no cooling, tenants melting. Owner books by phone; the units are running before the group chat escalates.
A Lehi or Saratoga two-story’s young system down, warranty visit days out. Cold bedrooms tonight, claim untouched.
An older Orem or Provo home’s cooler or system quit. Portables carry it — and we repair the machine too.
The right part lands in days. The family stays comfortable and the repair happens once, correctly.

Utah County rental questions
Do you deliver portable A/C in Utah County?
Yes, Lehi to Payson, usually the same day you reserve. Setup runs seven days a week: weekdays 7am-10pm, Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-9pm. Call or text 801-960-5925 and we confirm availability on the spot.
Who rents portable air conditioners in Utah County?
Canyon Comfort Heating & Cooling, licensed and insured, runs rental portables the length of Utah County, cooling student rentals for landlords and bridging warranty waits in the new west-side cities, reserved by call or text at 801-960-5925.
Does the drive down cost extra?
No. The $150 for delivery, setup and takedown is the same in Spanish Fork as it is in Salt Lake, plus $20 a day. Distance doesn’t change the price.
What’s included?
Two high-efficiency portable A/C units, 450 square feet each for near 900 combined, plus a portable swamp cooler, delivered anywhere from Lehi to Payson. Setup on arrival and removal at the end are both ours.
How are the rental days counted?
The same calendar-date math as everywhere we serve: $150 covers delivery, setup and takedown, each date adds $20, and the setup and pickup dates count one apiece regardless of hour. A third unit is $10 daily.
Can a landlord cool a student apartment while the real repair waits?
Yes, and August move-in season is when those calls stack up. The owner reserves by phone, we coordinate with the tenants by text, and a no-cooling complaint usually becomes a solved one the same day, whoever ends up doing the system work.
Will portables cool a whole house?
They hold the rooms they’re in, and we say so plainly. In the county’s older Provo and Orem homes that’s most of the living space; in the big new west-side two-stories it’s the upstairs bedrooms where the heat stacks and the family sleeps.
Can I rent if another company is doing my repair?
Yes, any contractor, builder or warranty vendor. To add our written diagnosis or repair: $80 weekday service call (7am-6pm), credited toward approved work, +$40 weeknights and weekends, unchanged by the drive south.
Both ends of the county, one cold answer
Rented portables bridge student blocks and new builds alike — and the licensed, insured repair side handles what actually broke.
