While the part’s on order

Portable A/C rental in Millcreek

The east bench’s answer to a dead A/C in July — cold air delivered and set up today, hauled away once the real fix lands.

Local context

One aging system, one hot week, one good bridge

Most of Millcreek runs on a single system per house, and in the mid-century ramblers that define the east bench, that system has often been running for a long time. When it quits in a July heat wave — and equipment always quits in the heat wave, because that’s when it works hardest — the part or the schedule can put the fix days away.

The rental is the difference between those days being miserable and being ordinary. Two portable A/C units and a portable swamp cooler usually go in the same day, placed where the household actually lives and sleeps. Single-level floor plans take placement especially well, and the bench’s cool canyon evenings do some of the work for free.

Millcreek’s other steady call is the remodel: kitchens opened up, additions underway, HVAC disconnected mid-project. The units keep the house livable until the system comes back.

2

We deliver & set up

Units go where a rambler needs them — main bedroom and living space — and we verify cold air before we drive off.

3

We pick it up

Once the repair or remodel wraps, one more visit clears every trace of the rental out of the house.

Who calls for this

The Millcreek calls we get most

THE HEAT-WAVE BREAKDOWN

The A/C picked the hottest week to quit. Portables in the same day, repair booked calmly instead of desperately.

THE REMODEL

Addition framed, ducts disconnected, family still living in the house. Cooling continues while the project runs.

THE RIGHT-CONTRACTOR WAIT

The company you actually want is booked out. The rental keeps your place in their line instead of settling for whoever answers first.

THE SWAMP COOLER BRIDGE

The bench’s remaining coolers wait on pumps like everything else. Portables cover the gap, and we repair the cooler too.

Millcreek rental FAQ

Millcreek’s most-asked rental questions

Do you deliver portable A/C same-day in Millcreek?

Same-day for nearly every Millcreek call. The east bench is a short hop from our routes, and windows run weekdays 7am-10pm, Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-9pm. Call or text 801-960-5925 and we lock one in immediately.

Who rents portable A/C in Millcreek?

Canyon Comfort Heating & Cooling, the licensed, insured repair-only company that fixes A/C across Millcreek’s east bench, also delivers rental portables usually the same day, so the bridge and the repair share one call to 801-960-5925.

What comes with the rental?

Two high-efficiency portables, each rated for 450 square feet, arrive alongside a portable swamp cooler on every rental, about 900 square feet of refrigerated coverage plus the evaporative assist. Setup and eventual takedown are ours to do, not yours.

How much is it, and how do the days count?

We count dates, never hours. Delivery, setup and takedown come to a $150; every calendar date is $20 more, the day we set up and the day we collect both included, whenever those happen. A third portable is $10 a day.

Our one system serves the whole rambler. When it dies, is a rental enough?

For living well while you wait, yes. Portables won’t hold an entire house at 70 degrees in a 95 degree week, and we say so plainly. But a mid-century rambler’s single-level layout takes placement beautifully: one unit in the main bedroom, one in the living space, and the week is ordinary again.

Can the rental cover us while you fix our mid-century system?

That’s the ideal shape of it. One call reserves the units and books the repair. The service call is $80 weekdays 7am-6pm, credited toward a repair you approve, with $40 added weeknights until 10pm and all weekend.

We’re mid-remodel and the HVAC is disconnected. Do you do that?

Yes. Millcreek’s remodel-and-addition boom generates a steady stream of exactly this call, and the units keep the household, or the crew, comfortable until the system comes back online.

Can I rent if another company is doing my repair or install?

Absolutely, whoever holds the repair ticket. If it ends up ours, weekday diagnostics run $80 (7am-6pm), credited to approved work; weeknights to 10pm and weekends add $40.

The bench’s bridge

Between the breakdown and the fix, comfort holds

The rental carries the house, the repair happens without panic, and both come from the same licensed, insured company.
