Will it keep the whole house at 70?
Portables cool rooms, not whole houses, and we say that up front. In a small postwar home, though, two well-placed units cover the bedroom and living room, which is what a livable week actually requires.
Our swamp cooler died and parts take a few days. Is this the bridge?
That’s one of the most common calls here. The portables carry the house while the cooler waits on its pump or motor, and since we repair swamp coolers too, one call can book both.
Can I rent if another company is doing the repair?
Yes, any repair company, any timeline. Want us on the fix as well? The weekday service call is $80 (7am-6pm) and it credits toward repairs you approve; weeknights until 10pm and weekends run $40 more.
